Who we are

The Quilting Block is a locally owned and lovingly run quilting and sewing hub located in Rock Creek, Ohio. Founded by longtime maker and sewing enthusiast Jeanie Gage, our shop is dedicated to supporting the creative spirit of quilters, sewers, and textile artists across the region.

We offer a curated selection of tools, threads, and notions for makers at all levels, with a special focus on quilting materials.

Throughout the year, we host Sit & Sew gatherings that are welcoming spaces for makers to come together, share ideas, and stitch side by side. Whether you're working on your first quilt or your fiftieth, you'll find encouragement and expertise here.

While we don’t sell items online, we invite you to come into the store and look at our every changing and growing selection of fabrics, sewing kits, supplies, books, and inspiration. If you have any questions before your visit, just give us a call and we’ll be happy to talk through our available products.
